Chase Potter represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including business/commercial disputes, professional liability (attorney and accounting malpractice), healthcare, transportation and logistics matters, and vicarious/upstream liability claims against corporate entities (specifically hospital organizations).

Chase regularly defends law firms and individual attorneys in complex malpractice lawsuits. He also helps guide fellow lawyers through the grievance process when claims of professional misconduct are filed against them with the State Bar.

Chase defends and counsels school districts, hospital districts, and other governmental entities. He assists districts in updating employee/student handbooks, employee applications/contracts, and other administrative policies covering issues like bullying and social media.

Chase has advised special districts (e.g. hospital districts) on procurement issues and assisted such entities in updating their purchasing policies to ensure compliance with competitive bidding requirements.
